The Unknown
The Maverick Attribute workshop aims to understand why our children and young adults engage in risky behaviors such as carrying knives.
We will cover topics such as the impact of knife crime, exploitation, the law, and the controversial topic of police engagement (stop and search).
Our workshops will provide insights into these themes and real-life experiences of those who have been affected. Emotional stories, specific videos, and images of real-life incidents will also be presented during this workshop."

Strengthen families
Marcel attended and presented at our VAWG conference and was inspirational. I told him he was too inspirational! Because so many people signed up for our workshop immediately after he spoke! All of the attendees were so impressed with Marcel! Marcel is a real champion for our work, and he represents the possibilities of supporting boys and young men to have healthier, happier relationships – thereby reducing the harm caused to young women.

"Very informative to hear from Dr Lavell and Guest speaker Marcel. It was all excellent. I found it exciting to look at song lyrics and how they resonate with males who can relate to specific lyrics through their previous experiences/struggles."
